Founded in 2009, Ngond’a Sawa O Canada (NSOC) is a legally registered, nationwide non-profit association that brings together the majority of Sawa community members living in Canada. Its mission is to support their integration, foster their personal development, and promote Sawa culture in alignment with Canada's multicultural values.
Structured into independent regional groups, the currently active groups are: the Regional Group of Montreal, the Regional Group of Ottawa-Gatineau, and the Regional Group of Toronto. The association aims to expand nationwide by encouraging the creation of new groups in any locality where at least five Sawa members reside, with the goal of covering the entire Canadian territory. Its head office is located in Ottawa, Ontario.

Founded in June 2022, Bankon I Canada (BIC) is a non-profit, apolitical association that brings together Cameroonians from the Bonaléa subdivision, in the Moungo department of Cameroon’s Littoral region, whose native language is Bankon. Its mission is to foster solidarity, well-being, and unity among its members throughout Canada, while promoting and preserving their cultural identity within the values of Canadian multiculturalism.

cultivating resilience, and strengthening female leadership.

convinced that educating girls is the foundation of community development.
Association Bakoko Bi Canada (ABBC)

Founded on April 9, 2022 and based in Montréal, the Bakoko Bi Canada Association (ABBC) brings together approximately 23 active members. Its mission is to foster mutual support, unity, and individual and collective growth, while preserving and promoting the Bakoko language and culture in North America.
ABBC is engaged in community development initiatives both in Canada and in Cameroon. It regularly holds monthly meetings, BBQs, family outings, academic excellence recognition, and the annual Mpo’o celebration.
The association stands for values such as equality, freedom of expression, respect for seniority, recognition of merit, solidarity, mutual tolerance, and the sense of belonging to one family.
Its vision is to embrace the values of the broader Québécois and Canadian communities while maintaining strong cultural roots.
